Hi Tea @ Cameron Highlands Resort

We spent Malaysia day by going on a half day trip to Cameron Highlands. Left KK by 11.30am, and reached Kg Raja at around 1.30pm. Went buying some produce like white sweet corn and strawberries.

We then went to Cameron Highland Resort for tea, because we wanted to avoid the crowd at the tea plantations due to the public holiday.

Bake With Yen @ Ipoh

Bakery supplies chain store Bake With Yen has finally arrived in Ipoh. It's a breath of relief for bakers in Ipoh and surrounding areas. No longer do we have to tolerate the lousy customer service at the one in town not neither do we have to fork out more at other shops in Ipoh Garden.

Located in a rather quiet area with ample parking, it's not hard to find. If you know where YMCA is, it's just at the few row of shops nearby, on the other side of Kinta river.

Plan b. @ Ipoh

We went to Plan b. for lunch few days back.

Situated in the old town, next to the famous coffee shop, Kong Heng.

Surprisingly.. I saw this unexpectedly and became very obedient and went in to have cake

We had to seek for an entrance. Lol. It wasn't seen from the front, the same side as Kong Heng, I mean. Finally found it at the side when we followed another person that we suspected was going in.. The building structure was once an old furniture showroom, among ruins that dates back further than WW1. But has been redone. It still reeks of that typical smell of old ruins. So, sitting outdoors on the side that faces the ruins is not recommended. But there's no smell inside the restaurant.
