Village BBQ Steamboat @ Bandar Puteri, Puchong
I'm a steamboat fan, especially buffet steamboats.
I came here with a few of my buddies and we can say that we ate our money's worth. We sat at the upper level. Not as crowded, but warmer.
Praises:
1. Fresh!! Crabs, prawns, fish, meat , all fresh !! There's mussels, scallops, lots of fresh prawns and crab, clams, snails, perfect if you're a fan of seafood.
2. Bathroom is clean.
Not so happy:
1. Vegetables not cleaned. We took the 'tong Ho' into the bathroom and washed away the sand.
2. The 'plates' were limited. Use only what is given, no clearing, no extra clean plates.
As for taste.... It's always subjective. We like the chicken wings, the satay skewers, but didn't enjoy the foil wrapped fish.
The BBQ pit :-)
Not the usual hot plate BBQ... But with burning coal!
Showing you some of the stuff we Bbqed.
All nicely arranged. These are your choices for BBQ.
Sauces... Nothing exciting.
Cooked food. Didn't touch them as we wanted to save our tummy space for good stuff
It's RM38 per adult and here is the address and contact number.
There are two stories and food is available on both stories. But there are slight differences. Ground floor has slightly more things to choose. If you are sitting on first floor, you need to go to the ground floor to get fruits and cooked food.
This is ground floor food.
We will be back. Hopefully the food stays as fresh.
A tad disappointed as there were no super thin slices of meat, but compensated with a variety of seafood. I guess prawns are worth more than pork or beef, haha!!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Wendy, have you tried Mo Mo Steamboat? I like that one because each person has their own steamboat pot. But they don't have DIY BBQ. The BBQ have to order. Not bad. I freak put when you mentioned you had to take the vege to the bathroom to wash. Eeeeks!
