Vietnamese Food at Yi Kun Food Store @ Taiping

I don't know the history of this kopitiam but now they serve Vietnamese fare. We didn't intend to eat here, but in a food court in Taiping town.

The moment we got down the car, I saw this restaurant opposite the road... And my mother in law and I got interested immediately. They offer dining options with dishes or noodles. 

We were pretty satisfied with the food and the final bill was less than RM45 with drinks included.

Fancy Yong Tofu With Noodles @ Ipoh

We bumped into this place when we sent our girls for a replacement class at another branch for the art lessons she missed few weeks back. Then I saw this shop when my husband parked his car. My heart and jumping with glee. 

Haha, why so? Because I have only seen it on TV and heard about the fancy stuffed tofu but have no idea where the place is. And now it's right infront of me. 

I insisted on having lunch there.

Texas Chicken @ Sunway Pyramid

Lately I've seen quite a few Facebook statuses by friends regarding Texas Chicken. They all had rave reviews about it. So when I saw it today.... I so must try it

We ordered the three piece combo, Mexican burger combo and extra 3 pcs of honey butter biscuits.

The best way for me to describe the taste is by comparing with the most popular fried chicken in the country that is KFC.

Plan b. ... Again.

 This time... I'm not too happy about the service. So I guess I was  lucky the previous time  as I do hear people saying the service here  aren't too good.

When I walked in no one attended to us although the sign at the door asked us to wait for attendance. Then I asked a waiter who happened to be standing around, saying I needed a table for 2 adults and 3 kids in English, he told he he can't understand and so I spoke in his own language. He look baffled and told me , "See so many tables inside, go sit la"

Ok ok.... We shall sit by ourselves.
